Is Antalya a good place to live?

Antalya is Turkey's tourism capital and one of the Mediterranean's most affordable cities for expats and digital nomads. At just €600 per month, it offers year-round sunshine, stunning beaches, outstanding Turkish cuisine, and a rapidly growing infrastructure — all at a fraction of what comparable Mediterranean destinations cost.

The city sits on a dramatic coastline backed by the Taurus Mountains, giving it extraordinary scenery. The old town (Kaleiçi) is beautifully preserved with Ottoman and Roman ruins. The expat community has grown substantially — a mix of retirees, digital nomads, and people escaping European winters. Turkish is the dominant language, but English and Russian are widely spoken in tourist areas.
